Connect your MP3 player, dock, tablet or mobile phone directly

Connecting any MP3 player or dock, tablet, or mobile phone to your Transparent One speakers is as simple as connecting to headphones or a set of earbuds.

  1. Locate the 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo cable that came with your speakers.
  2. Plug one end of the cable into the ‘audio out’ (i.e. headphone jack output) on your music device or docking station.
  3. Plug the other end into the “analog in” connection on the back of the T1 active speaker.

  1. If you choose, you may plug the MP3 Player Dock’s power adapter into the convenient auxiliary power on the back of the Transparent One (TP1) active speaker providing it does not interfere with other components on the TP1. If you do not choose to use or cannot use the auxiliary power connector, plug the Apple Universal Dock’s power adapter into a power outlet that is close to your TP1 active speaker.
  2. Connecting the MP3 Player Dock to the Transparent One (TP1) speakers is basically no different than connecting a set of earbuds. Just connect the Line Out connector of your Apple Universal Dock to the TP1 analog input using a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo cable (this cable is provided with your TP1 speakers).
  3. Once the MP3 Player Dock is connected you can play music just as if you were using earbuds except that you will now hear the music on the TP1 speakers and you can use the Dock’s remote control to control your iPod.
  4. It’s that simple! Now sit back and enjoy the music.
