The Transparent Series speaker inputs let you connect our powered speakers directly or wirelessly to a multitude of devices.

  • Connect directly using any of the multiple inputs available on the active speaker.
  • Play music wirelessly over Bluetooth® .
  • Integrate seamlessly into your existing audio home network or stream from your favorite networked audio device.

Here are descriptions of each input and how they can be used with your music source.

Analog Input

  • Speaker connector: Standard 3.5mm stereo
  • Cable to use (two choices)
    • Standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable (provided with your Transparent Series speakers). Use this cable if your music source has a 3.5mm stereo output.
    • standard 3.5mm to RCA pair cable (usually red and white) (provided with your transparent Series speakers). Use this cable if your music source has a pair of L/R RCA output connectors (again, usually red and white).
  • Typical devices that use this connection: Computer, TV, Laptop, Tablet, Phone, Networked music box, Turntable (must have a phono preamp)

USB Input

  • Speaker connector: Standard USB type B
  • Cable to use (two choices)
    • Standard USB-A to USB-B cable (provided with your Transparent Series speakers). Use this cable if your computer has USB type A output connectors.
    • Standard USB-C to USB-B cable. Use this cable if your computer has USB-C or Thunderbolt type output connectors.
  • Typical devices that use this connection: Computer, Laptop

Optical Input

  • Speaker connector: Standard Toslink
  • Cable to use (two choices)
    • Standard Toslink to standard Toslink cable. Use this cable if your music source has a standard optical Toslink output connector.
    • Standard Toslink to mini Toslink cable. Use this cable if your music source has a mini Toslink output connector.
  • typical devices that use this connection: Computer, TV, Game console, Networked music box

Coax Input (T1E and T1E+ only)

  • Speaker connector: Standard RCA
  • Cable to use: Standard digital audio coax cable with RCA connectors at either end
  • Typical devices that use this connection: Computer, Networked music box

Bluetooth Wireless Input

  • Speaker connection: Wireless
  • Pairing the speakers to your music source (two choices)
    • Hit the “Pair-Prog” button on the back of the active speaker
    • Using the remote control, hit the “Enable” key followed by the “BT Pair” key
  • Follow the instructions regarding Bluetooth pairing in your music source’s instructions to complete the pairing process
  • Typical devices that use this connection: Computer, Laptop, Tablet, Mobile phone

Subwoofer Output

  • Speaker connector: Standard RCA
  • Cable to use (two choices)
    • Standard subwoofer coax cable with RCA connectors at either end
    • Standard RCA “Y” cable with one RCA connector on one end and two RCA connectors on the other end. The pair of RCA connectors would be connected to the L/R RCA inputs on the subwoofer. This connection type will double the input signal to the subwoofer.
  • Typical subwoofer that uses this connection: All powered subwoofers
